A global commodity merchanting home based in Stamford, CT is looking for an elderly accountancy professional to help in the guidance of the Accounting Department and lead the monetary reporting process.  The person will certainly accountable for coordinating the exterior and interior audits, and making certain conformity with IFRS and US GAAP as required.  Perfect candidate will certainly be a Certified Public Accountant and have sturdy people/management abilities, encounter with both ears IFRS and United States GAAP, and asset experience.
Duties:.
Prepare Consolidated Financial statements under United States GAAP and IFRS.
Produce and conduct monthly financial close and reporting process.
Co-manage (with the Operator) the Bookkeeping Division, as well as develop/review Accountancy employee to make certain that job is correctly allocated and completed in a exact and prompt manner and that appropriate sources and personnel are readily available for driving process modification to enhance efficiencies in total accounting/business processes.

Function as annual external audit liaison and oversee/manage all interactions with outside accounting firms.

Attend due diligence conferences with prospective investors and offer acquisition evaluation and acquisition integration as needed.
